Bias Crimes, although unfortunate, do exist.  A bias crime is one that someone commits against a person or property based solely on New Jersey's nine protected classes, which are:  race, color, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin or ethnicity.  If you ever hear of or witness an act, or believe yourself to be a victim of this type of crime, please report it.  The flyer on the left gives more information on Bias Crime reporting.  These crimes cannot go unrecognized!
